Thank you for praying for our family during these past weeks of transition
back to Nigeria. God's answered many prayers! Here are a few:

* Safety in travel back and forth to Jos and Yankari game reserve.
The Miango road is the worst I've ever seen it, so trips into Jos will
be few for me!

* The repairs on our home here, much nicer than I could have imagined,
have been a special boost to my adjustment. My Miango missionary
friends, Steve and Ruth Porter, deserve pats on the back for
their self-less service and attention to detail.

* The memorial service held on July 5th was a resounding praise to
God! Over 600 people came, many of whom were KA alumni. We Crouches
each spoke briefly. Testimonies and songs (some humorous!) spoke of
Jim's lasting impact on peoples' lives through the years. It was a
tribute to God's faithfulness in the life of a man whose heart was
bent towards Him.

* Visitors coming to our home have been quite constant since we
arrived. God's given grace and strength to interact with each one. As
people have shared stories, memories and prayers, we have been
strengthened.

* Family Highlights:Different family members enjoyed hikes to the
volcanoes, picnics, horse-riding, helping Mom sort-toss, share &
settle, soccer games, motorcycle rides, worshipping with vibrant
Nigerian believers, seeing many elephants at the game reserve,
appreciating the spirit of the KA family, and eating pounded yam and
egusi. Friends have assured the kids over and over that "Your Mom
will be in good hands with us here in Nigeria."

As the kids return to USA this week and I remain here at Kent Academy,
I remind myself that being back here in God's timing is what Jim and I
had prayed towards. So even though it's hard to be left behind right
now, I praise Him for helping us come this far by faith and know
"He'll lead us forward on a firm footing." Ps. 143:10

"Because He lives, I can face tomorrow!"
